If you consider a tomato a condiment.
Guacamole, which is made from avocado, could be a condiment, just like ketchup, which is made from tomato, is a condiment.

no the mashed up version is guacamole that IS a condiment
AVOCADO IS A VEGGIE

No, an avocado is a fruit, but if you make guacamole, then it is a condiment.

No, itj's a vegetable.

Condiments are ketchup, mayonnaise, relish.

I would eat an avocado alone, if I ate avocados. But I wouldn't douse my plate with ketchup or mayo or relish and eat it up. It would put those condiments on hamburger or tuna fish or whatever.

Avocado is a fruit. It is not a condiment nor a vegetable; it is a fruit. Brazilians eat it as a fruit, even sprinkling sugar on it. In other countries in Latin America it is eaten in salads and as a side dish. Mexicans prepare it in guacamole (as a matter of fact, avocado in spanish is aguacate... and thats where the word guaca-mole comes from: it is a "mole" made of a-"guaca"-te. Moles are sauces, dips or side dishes; so guacamole is not a condiment either.
