Substitute freshly grated nutmeg for store bought nutmeg?
i was just wondering if i could substitute store bought ground nutmeg for freshly grated nutmeg in recipes. thanks!

of course, but you'll want to use a little more than if it was freshly grated.
it's fine, just freshly grounded nutmeg tastes much better.

Yeah you can I would just add a pinch more of the store bought stuff because it is not going to be as flavorful as the fresh stuff!
