Are my potatoes safe to eat?
I microwaved them on high for five minutes around 5:00. I forgot I had put them in there. It's now 8 hours later. Are they safe to eat?

Yeah, I wouldn't try it. Potatoes are so cheap, just rebake some more. The microwave is not the safest place to store food. Very hot, dark environment. Just a breeding ground for bacteria. Throw them out, hopefully you already have before waiting on your question to be answered, lol.
as long as you reheat them to 165 degrees before you eat them
i would still eat them, id just maybe mash em up w some milk n butter n stuff, maybe a little cheese, n then nuke the hell outta em (not that it really helps, it just makes me feel better!) and that should b ok. it wont kill u

they should be safe to eat but the consistency of them should be alitle too chewy and the tate not so good, thats if they are fresh potatos end if they are frozen i would put them in the trash
