Do they serve hot or cold sushi is better???!

Question:

Do they serve hot or cold sushi is better???

Cold sushi taste sucks....but do they serve warm sushi.......

Answers:
if you go somewhere that they make it fresh, like a sushi train, and you can see them making it, then it shouldn't feel like it's been in a fridge. raw ingredients will be cold, but sometimes at the place I go to it is really fresh and some of the fillings are hot, like fried prawns or chicken. the one i went to for lunch today has one where they make the little rice pillows with salmon draped over, but then they get out a blow torch thing (like you use for creme brulee topping) and sear the top, then drizzle over really yummmm sauce and mayo and serve it still hot. that's my favourite. i hate the ones in food courts where it was all made this morning and not 2 minutes ago!

warm sushi?

wtf

you're an idiot.

either eat it cold, or sushi isn't for you.

how about you put it out in the sun for a bit then eat it.

Then you'll hate it even more.

no

cold sushi is way better

sushi is suppose to be raw

I don't really like sushi.

Maybe sushi is not for you. Like fine wine and Caviar, it could be an acquired taste. You could but would you drink warm Cola or beer?

There should be a McDonald's down the street.

The only slightly warm sushi I've had is eel. That is not served raw. if you don't like cold sushi, get tempura or other cooked dishes.

I apologize for the morons who post here. Most people who answer questions don't have a clue.

People who actually eat sushi know that there is sushi with raw fish, as well as sushi that is cooked. My favorite cooked sushi is "Spider Roll" which is made with fried soft shell crab. There are other sushi made with "dynamite" which is flying fish eggs with scallops in mayo that is then cooked....YUMM!

I also love raw sushi....tuna...salmon...yello... tail....etc. There are also sushi made with parboiled seafood such as octupus, and regular shrimp. Sweet shrimp is a special shrimp that is served raw. But be sure to ask them to fry the heads....as it is very crispy with a peanutty flavor. To die for!

For sushi experts....eat UNI.....that is the sex organs of a sea urchin. Sounds terrible (or sexy) but it's not....very tasty. However, it has an earthy flavor that you have to get used to.....definitely for sushi mavens.

Hope this answers your question, both types of sushi is great.....JUST EAT SUSHI!

Sushi is raw food, so it is always served chilled.

However sushi is good for your health and vitality. I love this food

warm sushi? cold sushi?

Thats like saying warm american food or cold american food.

sashimi is cold cause its RAW and is suppose to be.
they have fried sushi rolls that are warm
they have rolls with raw stuff that is so spicy it would like your mouth up.

Look go to a place.. look for a roll with tempora or shrimp inside and eel on the outside.

Try some salmon sashimi with soy sauce and wassabi in the soy sauce

try something with shrimp on the inside and crab meat on the outside.

that should give you a starting point.

The word sushi refers to freshness, not raw as some might think. Unagi is barbecued eel. It should be served on room temperature rice. There are other warm or hot sushi such as tempura sushi. Most often it served cold because when fresh fish used is it frequently raw. Sashimi can be seared on the outside and served just as slices with a dipping bowl for soy sauce and wasabi.

im with u although i dont mind cold sushi i reckon it would taste heaps better if u could get it warm ( except 4 like the fish ones) i guess u could get warm ones sometimes i guess just after they cook the meet n make it would be warm so if u want some warm i fink u would have get it as soon as they cook it

try asking for it at the sushi bar next time n see if the head chef doesnt look at u like ur an idiot
