Frozen dinner this is sick!?!

Question:

Frozen dinner this is sick!?

Im eating a stoffers frozen dinner turkey mashed potatoes and stuffing. I feel a strange texture in the mashed potato and pull out what would look to be a cockroachs leg. With little hairs or points on it, just I guess a question I could ask is how to hold stoffers responsible? Any sick food storys?

Answers:
Yep, that's life. A few months ago, I was eating guess what? Another Stouffer's dinner, but mine was frozen lasagna. I found a cockroach leg, so I totally believe you and know how nasty it is. When I was looking into seeing what I could do about it, I found some pages, and I think I may have even asked about it on Yahoo??, and found that all food service companies are allowed a certain amount of bugs in their foods, like one part per million, or something nasty. (So 'old fart's' answer was partially correct) There really isn't anything you can "hold Stouffer's responsible" for, the other answers are right. They are allowed to have the bug parts there, however nasty it is. I took pictures of "my" cockroach leg, and was going to send them to Stouffer's, but after learning that they are allowed some, I thought the same thing some people have told you- that I'd just get some coupons for more of their products. I just don't eat many frozen foods at all anymore. I eat fresh foods, and wash them thoroughly. It's probably better for me, after all. Remember, Lean Cuisine, the frozen dinners people on here recommend on here a lot, are made by Stouffer's. Yuck~

I found a spider leg in my slushy at DQ! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Hold stouffers responsible for what? You can't show you were injured, so they'd basically say "no loss" and that's it. Not worth it.

I bet if you took it back to the grocery store you bought it at and complained about it, they'd probably give you another Stouffer's turkey dinner as a replacement. :)
.

thats reallly sick, but theres probally nothign u can do about it. even tho there should be.. people made a big deal about the chicken head in mcdoanlds chicken nuggets.. u,, storys? well i left a pop on the deck last year and i went to drink it a few minutes later and sumthing was flipping around in my mouth and i spit it out and it was a freaking fly i gaged n puked!!! it was beyond gross!!! i wanted to cryi felt so dirty lol i almost swallowed a like.. perhapes i woulda died lol.. sry it reminded me of the story ryhume.

if u raise a big fuss n send em a letter saying what u found they might send u some coupons...lol...coupons for more cockroach infested food! lol i think u would need a lawyer n it would end up costing u more than u would end up ever getting.

I seen someone eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich with mustard, maynaiose, pickles, and ketchup.

They wanted to try something gross because I dared them, I didn't actually think that they would do it.

well first off the govt says a percentage of bug parts or other stuff in our food is acceptable .like chocolate up to 90 parts per 100gms is permissable .coffee beans are loaded with buggs and roasted with them .hot dogs ! have you ever looked at the meats in a hot dog up close .those little specks that look like pepper or spice could be bug parts that have been pulverized. happy eating.

well theres really no way to blame them because u did not get hurt....and they could say it came from ur house...and um.....i was eating at a resterant and um.......in my sandwitch i fount a beatle! i never went there ever angin and just think of that story were they found that finger at wendys...if u have heard of that u know they found a finger in the chili....gross!!!!!
