Sure is!! Make sure you are the one to kill the snake though, since some kinds of snakes with poision will bite themselves if they feel they are dying. I've never tasted it myself, but my dad and friends all say its good...especially rattlesnake

I don't know about all snakes,but I used to cook in a restaurant where rattlesnake was on the menu. And it tasted pretty good.
