Is Kool-Aid healthier than soda?!

Question:

Is Kool-Aid healthier than soda?

I know soda isn't too good for you....is kool aid worse or better?

Answers:
its better because u can control the amount of sugar. i actually like it with less than the cup of sugar they say to put in

I make my kid's kool-aid with splenda. They will never know! It is saving their sugar usage for later. We have diabetes in the family and if I can preserve their sugar intake in any small way, it makes me feel better.

I think that kool-aid is better than soda to answer your question.

Depends oh how much sugar you put in. But Kool Aid is healthier because it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, sodas have that and I read that that was one of the worst substances to drink. Hope this helped!

Is it? Yeah we can control the amount of sugar we put in but it already has sugar in it. And what about everything else in it? Artificial is never good for you. Niether is good and I dont think there really is a factual answer to which is better. Personal choice i guess. I will still lean toward kool aid though.

It is for most of your body. However it does more damange to your teeth.

Hard to say at this point. They used to sell the unsweetened version so you could modify the amount of sugar you added, but lately, all I see at the stores are the presweetened versions.

Kool-Ade has 3x the amount of sugar than soda. It rots your teeth so don't give it to children.

I personaly believe that Kool-Aid should be banned or at least restricted to those over 18yrs.
Dr Brumpy Neh also agrees.

So if you have bought Kool-Aid throw it out whatever you do, do not drink it.

If you are older or have a situation where you have false teeth it shouldn't be so bad if you have a glass once in a while.

But if you have a weight condition i strongly suggest that you stay off this drink.

Also it is highly addictive

Kool aid is a little bit better for one reason. Soda contains a substance known as para-Hydroxybenzoic acid, which it harmful to the enamel on your teeth. Teeth that have been exposed to long doses of this acid have been known to decay much faster. I would suggest limiting the soda intake. Kool aid does not contain this substance, but still contains large quantities of sugar. At least you will still have your teeth.

None of them are good. Give your kids 100% juices.

kool aid is flavored sugar water, the end.

soda....even worse.

If you need something sugary drink some juice.

SPLENDA IS BAD! don't substitute sugar for splenda either. It has recently been on the news for having horrible side effects. Personally any imitation sugar gives me migraine headaches and horrible cramps. Just stick to natural juices if you are in need. Especially if you are giving these drinks to children.

yes, especially if you use less sugar.
