Help, what can a young vegan eat on the candida diet?!

Question:

Help, what can a young vegan eat on the candida diet?

Hi,
I am a vegan and I ate mostly fruit and odwalla juices before the candida diagnosis. I don't know what to do now. Please Help! I would love a structured meal plan, I am starting to get really hungry, is there anybody who can help, because I'd love to eat some breakfast tomorrow. I am normally quite healthy and need a nutritious plan because I don't want to stunt my growth. Thanks so much.

The things to eliminate are sugars, including fruit sugars, processed grain products such as white flour and white rice, and other simple carbs such as potatoes and anything that has been fermented or is a fungus-soy sauce,vinegar,pickles,mushroom... You can eat unfermented soy products-tofu and soy milk- as well as nuts, beans and legumes for protein. The only veggies off limits should be mushrooms and anything pickled. After several months on the diet you can cautiously reintroduce fruit and monitor it's effect on your system.

Examples of a two day meal plan, just throw in anything you consider to eat that is vegan. Be creative!

I would see a nutirionist. I know you should avoid fruit, anything with yeast or wheat gluten and all refined sugar. Candida thrives on sugar.

It looks as though you still have plenty you can eat.
Just stock your fridge and cupboards with the following edible foods and make sure you get the appropriate amounts of edible fruits, veggies, grains and beans/seeds/nuts
Here is the recommended amount for being vegan
http://www.vegsource.com/food_groups.htm...

And here is a list of food you can eat
Avoid all fruits (fresh, frozen or dried), EXCEPT you can eat ---- EDIBLE- grapefruit, lemon, lime, tangerines, strawberries, cranberries, kiwi, currants, mangoes, bananas & fresh pineapple. Oranges used to be a part of this list but I have found that they cause digestive problems in the stomach in many people, so they should be used in very limited amounts.

Do not eat walnuts or chickpeas.
---EDIBLE- Any other nut, bean or seed is okay to eat.

The only vegetables to stay clear of are mushrooms and sweet potatoes,
EDIBLE- so eat lots of fresh veggies (remember, organic is always better for the body).

-----The best things to drink are grapefruit juice or a natural lemonade. Well or bottled water is important as you will need to flush your system! Herbal teas are good as long as they don't contain the fruits that are not allowed on the diet.

-----Your sugars of choice are pure maple syrup, barley malt, rice malt, molasses, organic cane juice crystals, stevia & sucanat.

------ Your bread of choice will be whole grain sourdough bread (such as Baldwin Hill or French Meadow breads). Look for crackers that are whole grain and yeast free. You must avoid enriched foods, such as crackers, pastas, etc, as they usually enrich with yeast. Stick to whole grain or semolina pastas.

Rainbow Green-Live Food cuisine has about 150 vegan recipes appropriate for the candida diet.
You can have: sprouts, nut milks, veggies(no squash carrots, beets, potatoes), coconut pulp(not water), stevia, millet, buckwheat. It is a very restrictive diet. Try to eat lots of avocados for the calories.
For example: You can make yummy granola with millet and hulled buchwheat: soak overnight, drain, add cinnamon and stevia, bake at lowest temp. in oven until crispy. Serve with fresh almond milk.
