Looking for good recipes with sauces, spices and flavor!!?
any recommendations for books or recipes?
dishes with chicken or seafood with rice would be great. I searched cookbooks and many recipes use sauces with a cheese or tomato base, or it's basically a one-pot casserole, and I'm looking for actual meals. Any suggestions for either names of cookbooks, chefs or websites w/good recipes would be appreciated.

Rachel Ray does tons of recipes with seafood and chicken, and a lot of them have sauces. Pick up any one of her cookbooks, or go to foodnetwork.com and go to her show (30 minute meals), and you'll find a lot of them. And on the plus side, they're not the sauces that are just a can of soup and some milk. They're actually really good.
Add a dash of Cinnamon & a dash of nutmeg to your pasta sauce, a teaspoon of sugar, with fresh garlic. Salt is optionial. Enjoy!
