Black spots on vegetarian vitamins from GNC?!

Question:

Black spots on vegetarian vitamins from GNC?

Does anyone here take the vitamins from GNC called "UltraMega" in the vegetarian formula? Have you ever noticed that the pills get those black spots all over them, even before you are done with a 1-month supply?!

What are those black spots? It drives me crazy, I end up throwing them away every time... I tried calling my local GNC store and they knew nothing of it. They said they called the manufacturer (I wonder if they really did) and they were told it was a "naturally occuring oxidation process" or something like that... But I still say... YUCK!

Where can I buy a good vegetarian multi-vitamin that doesn't grow black spots after a few weeks?

When you asked that question, I thought about the black spots on stored potatoes. Which is caused by fungi aspergillus and fusarium, which produce the mycotoxins aflatoxin and fumosium. In other words fungus!

the only place you should buy vitimans is at a health food store.
