Why is Oatibix not called Oatabix?!

Why is Oatibix not called Oatabix?

You are missing my point. My question relates to the spelling of the product known as Oatibix. I wonder why an 'a' is not used in place of the 'i', thus Oatabix, in the same way that Weetabix is not Weetibix.

Yea and it taste the EXACT same as weetabix too, don't you think?

Because Oatabix is a rude word in Swedish.

Because they seriously didnt think people would give a monkies!!

Weetabix is called Weetabix because it's made from Wheat.

It's the same with Oatabix - Oatabix is called Oatabix because it's made from Oats.

It's clearly mentioned on the TV advert if you ever see it.
