Help me to find text about english meals?!

Question:

Help me to find text about english meals?

Answers:
Don't know about text but us Brits like Roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and two veg with a rich beef gravy Yummy! Dint overcook the beef it should be pink inside.
Lancashire hot pot is also a good warming meal. Pie and Peas tend to be favorites in local areas. In London they eat pie and mash, or pie mash and jellied eels! Sounds yuk to me but they seem to like it!
Sausages beans and mash is always a favorite, and we like chips with lots of things, but many people are cutting down on chips now, well we are anyway!
Favorite deserts are apple pie with either custard, cream or ice cream.
Hope this helps.

If you mean old english, the british museum has an excellent cookbook with old english recipies in it. You can buy it in their store.

I have a book called Pleyn Delit. It is recipes from the middle ages and most of the dishes are English (there are some from France and a few from elsewhere). It is a very good book. I first found it at my university library.
