Does drinking diet drinks make you gain weight?!

Question:

Does drinking diet drinks make you gain weight?

even if i don't eat anything when i drink the soda, will the diet make me gain weight. im asking by itself, not if it makes me want to eat more.

Answers:
That is because of the sodium....It makes you thirsty, which triggers an eating impulse. Try drinking water! It fills you up, and does not trigger eating.

I hope this helps,

Lonnie

Not per se. The nutra sweets/cemical sugar replacements will make you crave food though.
So if you can avoid eating is the other question, the diet drinks itself dont make you gain though.
They harm your teeth very much though.

Most diet drinks, especially colas have high levels of sodium. Before starting ANY diet or exercise regimen, please get yourself checked by your family physician first.

I have been hearing that yes, they do. Ive heard that the sweetner in them is tricking your body into producing the same about of insulin regular sugar does.

yeah...i think so

Hell no!
It might give you a distended stomach if you drink too much, but you'll pee it out l8er. :p

It will make you gain water weight as it has a lot of sodium in it and that make you retain water.

i think drinking any kind of soda diet or regular makes you gain weight
