Does anyone know how Godfather's Pizza makes those delicious dessert pizzas?!

Question:

Does anyone know how Godfather's Pizza makes those delicious dessert pizzas?

We used to have a Godfather's pizza, but they went out of business. They had the best dessert pizzas. They had just the regular cinnamon struesel and apple, cherry and chocolate. I don't know if they added any or if they are even still around. I would love to make them at home.

Answers:
Godfathers Streusel Dessert Pizza

Streusel
1-2/3 cup bread flour
2/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup solid shortening
1/4 cup buttery oil
Icing
1 cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. buttery oil
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix together streusel ingredients and store in closed container.

Recipe
To make pizza: take crust (either home-made or pre-made) and add 1/2-1 Tbsp. buttery oil to crust leaving 1/2 inch space around crust. Sprinkle cinnamon all around buttered crust.

Top pizza crust with 1 cup streusel mix. Use a sifter if necessary to break up any lumps. Bake at 490 degrees for 7 1/2 minutes. Cover with aluminum foil halfway through to keep streusel from burning. Mix icing ingredients until it is of a drizzle consistency. If it is too thick, then thin with a small amount of milk (1/2 teaspoon at time) until you have reached your desired thinness. When finished baking, top with icing in a circular pinwheel pattern. I usually ice the pizza with a sandwich bag with the end cut off.

Note, the streusel ingredients will make around 3 cups of streusel mix. This recipe is for a 14 inch pizza, you will need to adjust accordingly for a bigger or smaller pizza.

Good Luck! ~-~

BTW....I love pizza and the dessert ones are wonderful!

No I don't but I have one that is very tasty.
1 can of biscuits (any kind will work)
1pk of cream cheese
1 tsp of vanilla
4 TBS of sugar
1 granny smith apple

Softened cream cheese
Add vanilla, sugar and cream cheese together until smooth. place the biscuits on a cookie sheet, or stone (make them into a square, roll out if needed. spread the cream cheese mixture on the biscuits, then chop the apple into small pieces, spread on top and then pour Carmel on them and bake, the same as the directions on the biscuits....everyone loves this simple recipe, you could use pizza dough also...good luck.
