Okay, calm down. take a deep breath and your good. If you wanna lose a couple of pounds then all you have to do is eat healthy. Like you can have fresh fruits and vegitables, lean chicken with no skin. Oh and the best of all, whole grain pasta with a little splash of tomato sauce and a pinch of parmeason cheese. And sweets are ok but only for dessert. and then just excersixing a little more. Like when youve got an hour or two to your self than just go for a spead walk. How quickly & how much?

milk helps to digest your food, and water...drink plenty of water (2 a day max) but dont drink it when you want to squeeze into a dress-it will make you bloated.

Ditch all junk like fizzy drinks and fried foods in particular because of their high saturated fat content.

Also cut out on all 'white' foods and eat wholegrains instead such as wholemeal bread & pasta, brown rice and oats - porridge is a great way to start the day as it's really filling. Try it mixed with a chopped/mashed banana or some berry fruits.

Always make sure that you have 3 main meals everyday. It's also important to snack heathily and reguarly as it keeps your energy levels high and also means that you never go hungry. Things like fruit, nuts, seeds and veggie sticks. Beware some so-called 'healthy' cereal bars - most are packed with sugar.

You don't necessarily have to adopt a vigorous exercise programme down at gym in order to help shift the pounds. Simply walking to places more often is a great way of keeping in shape (if you use public transport for example, try getting off a stop early) and going swimming a couple of times a week is really effective too. Dancing is also a brilliant form of exercise and it's fun!

the best thing is obviousely a good diet but swimming is the best way i loose weight so quickly that way up to 8lb a week for the first 2 weeks then between 3-4 lb after that plus it tones all your body and works all the muscles :0) goodluck !

or even try going jogging with a bin liner on over your chest under shirt - this will cause your body to sweat excessively getting rid of excess water which will lead to weight loss
