Answers:
Proscuitto wrapped asparagus

Preheat oven for 350F.

1/2 pound prosciutto, sliced
12 spears fresh asparagus, trimmed

Wrap one slice around the asparagus. Bake for about 15 minutes in a lightly oiled baking tray.

When serving, pour a little of the alfredo sauce over each spear of the asparagus.

I don't think you need to have any meats with the meal. The fettucine will be an 'event' in itself

Make some meat balls with some cheese in the middle

Since it's carb heavy, how about a simple steamed or roasted veggie with hollandaise? That'll balance out.

Soup

Vegetables is the answer. I would serve a side of Mediterranean veggies, for example a mix of zucchini, bell peppers, onions and aubergine - diced and cooked with olive oil, salt and pepper.-

open a can of whole mushrooms...drain them
place about 3 tablespoon butter in a sauce pan
add 1 tablespoon garlic powder
dash of salt
dash of black pepper
saute them for about 10 min and place on the side of your dish.....WALLAAAA........ "SAUTEED MUSHROOMS"

garlic parmesan bread sticks
or
grilled chicken breast added to pasta dish or shrimp

Since you didnt mention the alfredo with a meat source, you may want to grill some chicken breast, or shrimp, or meatballs. Add some sauted bell peppers in the yellow, orange, red variety for a colorful display.

Fresh green beans (cooked tender-crisp) are very good finished with a light coating of pesto, either homemade or store bought, a bit of lemon juice, and toasted almond slivers.
Good luck w/ your project!

maybe,pasta

chicken cutlets

salad

I would say a grilled chicken breast seasoned lightly or a mixed vegetable grill: squash, zucchini, onions, peppers, and broccoli.

grilled asparagus would be great, or grilled tomatoes topped with some fresh mozzarella and fresh basil.............
