Which do you consider to be the best brand for cooking pots?!

Question:

Which do you consider to be the best brand for cooking pots?

Answers:
I use Cuisinart. They are much cheaper than All-Clad and were developed to have the same cooking properties as All-Clad but with much less cost and a cheaper price for the consumer.

All-Clad.

(Made where I live!!)

Kitchen Aid

Be careful of Brands. Once almighty Farberware & Calphalon. Even venerable Kitchen Aid has licensed it's name for cookware. All of these are made somewhere in the Far East.
My personal at home favorite is All Clad. If you have access to a Restaurant Supply that is open to the public look for Lincoln Wearever made of 3004 aluminum. NOTE this is not to be confused with Wearever which is the retail side from another company and imported.

Caphalon

A good cooking pot will be stainless steel, and have a bottom thickness of at least 1/4 of and inch, to prevent scorching and burning. You can find great pots like this for a resonable price. A brand is a brand thats it, You are buying the name. The best place to get GREAT pots for cheap, are thrift stores, clean them up with a steel scrubber. If there is Carbon build up, go to the hardware store and buy some Carbon Clean about 8 bucks, this will make them look new in minutes.

wow that answer would be related how well the marketer of cooking pots have done~

so far what i know is tefal is doing quite well~
anywayz, get stainless steel one.
and don't scratch the bottom while using~

Cheerz!

All-Clad is definitely the best, but very expensive. Did you know Emerilware is made by All-Clad? Cheaper alternative. Another good brand is Le Creuset. My son has these pans. They are pricey too, but will last forever. Each pan is made from it's own mold and the mold is never used again, so it's like you're getting custom pans everytime you buy one. I used to have a set of Calphalon pans, but ended up hating them because they couldn't go in the dishwasher and I absolutely hate washing dishes by hand. Only after I bought them did the non stick ones come out.

All-Clad or Cuisinart.
