Which coffee has more caffeine, light roast or dark roast?!

Question:

Which coffee has more caffeine, light roast or dark roast?

Answers:
believe it or not, light roast has more caffeine.

dark roast, or maybe 100% colombian. My preference is the colombian.

Dark--it's more concentrated that the light roast.

So the degree of roasting the coffee beans is indicative of its caffeine content? Interesting concept, but it falls flat.

bull!
I sell and distribute Bolivian coffee at Amazon, the roasting is totally separated from the caffeine content of the bean.
Not because you roast the bean longer you are going to get a high caffeine content coffee!!!
Colombian coffees are not organic, no Colombian coffee will have a "organic tag" on it period!!!
Depends of the soil, kind of bean , Arabica or Robusta for the ammount of caffeine in the bean, shade- grown or not, etc
Arabica has more caffeine than Robusta , that is the kind of coffe that Starbucks uses.

I second that light roast has more caffeine! Work with Alterra coffee roasters, I think the longer its roasted, the darker it is and the less caffeine it will have.
