Lays regular chips are vegan. In fact I had some last nite. I love them, its my one major junk food addiction. So, pop open a bag and enjoy the beautiful greasy saltiness on them! :P

BTW,
Kosher
parve (also spelled pareve) does NOT equal vegan, or animal product free.
Eggs and fish are pareve, so it is entirely possible to find pareve items
which contain eggs. As to fish, the OU will mark an item containing them as
such, but I wouldn't trust other agencies to do the same.

no

yeah. But if u buy "Potato Skins" chips, its much better for u. I know it sounds kinda weird or nasty, but its really good. And vegetarian. =)

no... they use sunflower oil...and deer blood haha

these chips are vegan. there is nothing in the ingredients that render them anything but potatoes oil and salt. but they are a registered vegan product and some flavors may contain animal fats or products from animals that could be processed in or around the regular chips

they should be, because they are cooked with sunflower oil

lol..
why would anyone make potato chips that gives animal fat...
then you should call it animal chips

Yes Lays are OK. They are vegan. But don't eat too many, they are processed and slow your elimination down.

I would not venture a guess. How can you tell if the potato eats meat or not. In most organic plants(potatoes and all plants) are grown with animal products. The fertilizer is from animals and will make it a non vegan product. Most chemical fertilizers can be traced back to animal byproducts at some point and time. Even the air that you breath has been processed through an animal at one or more times. A true vegan will not eat or breathe. The irony of the thing is ,when the body decays the gases and materials will go back into the food chain and end up in a non vegan person.

no and believe me i just checked they use sunflower oil but thanks u got me thinking

The following Lay's potato chips are certified pareve (check for the symbol) that means they contain no dairy or meat. The only ingredient that can be included in pareve foods that is not allowed under the vegan diet, to the best of my knowledge is honey.

"Brand: Lay's
# Classic Potato Chips - Original OU

# Deli Style Potato Chips - Original OU

# French Onion Premix OU

# Natural Organic Thick Cut Potato Chips - Original OU

# Potato Chips - Unsalted OU

# Ranch Dip Mix OU

# Reduced Fat Original Potato Chips OU

# Wavy Potato Chips - Original OU

Brand: Lay's Light
# Classic Potato Chips - Original OU"

NOTE certain flavours do contain DAIRY.

Here are some of the various pareve sumbols, the most common in North America is the U in the circle so far as I know.

just check the ingredients - if it is just potato, sunflower oil and salt your good - if there is a long list then they are not

No not animal fat but oil fat since they are fried.
The plain ones are vegan but other spices might have dairy.
:)<3
