Answers:
Of course you can! Bake them for like 3 hours and they sould taste awesome!

Goya sells refried beans in a can - so you won't have to do whatever you do to make them refried. just heat it up.

sure, its possible.

If you make from dry beans then you cook them see the directions on the back of package. If can then no just heat them up.

You can bake them if you want, but they're not really refried beans unless they've been fried, and then fried again. Canned refried beans have never been fried...just saying.

I make my refried beans by cooking the beans, water and garlic in the slow cooker for 8-10 hours. I then mash them with some of the liquid that they cooked in. I then mix them with about 1/4 - 1/2 cup shortening. I put then in a fry pan and fry them until they are the desired consistancy.

If I need refried beans in a hurry, I open the can, put in a microwave safe dish and heat them for 3 -5 minutes.

no. you don't have to, you can i suppose.

No. Refried beans are beans that have been cooked with seasoning of your choice. The beans are then mashed and in most cases cooled. They are then they are put back into a pan and heated until bubbly a second time. Grease in some form is added to the beans( Lard in the most authentic, however I prefer finely chopped bacon the is cooked and not drained.) this can be done in the first or second cooking. I add mine in the second stage. I also add fine chopped green chile and onion in the second stage.
For a bean dip(refried beans) , I use black beans, add stewed tomatoes, to the bacon, onion and green chiles. Blend all well and heat in the grease from the cooked bacon. As the mixture starts to bubble add shredded cheese and allow to melt and stir and serve.

No if you buy the can, just open and add the salsa and heat in microwave for 2 mins.Easy.
