Ramen noodles?!

Question:

Ramen noodles?

I am a vegitarian and was reading the ingredients in the powder of the ramen noodles and was wondering is that real chicken powder. it says powdered cooked chicken

Answers:
then it is real chicken.

the powder does taste like chicken but it could be artificial...

it definately has some sort of chicken ingredient. I would stay away from it. or cook the pasta and make your own seasoning.

it has a small percentage of real chicken material, so they are able to say that it contains cooked chicken

wow..u'r a vegie but u eat chicken flavored food?..
well,i would think it's artificial

Yes it is. By law they have to say what is in the package.

I think roman noodles have artificial chicken. Even if its real your not eating the real thing.

The Oriental flavor Ramen Noodles are the only vegan ones.

It has some percentage of real chicken in it. I never use the powdered stock that comes with ramen noodles. I always make my own soup to go with it cuz they never tell you how much MSG (monosodium glutamate) is in the packet. You can make a simple vegetable stock and cook the noodles in that the next time you make them. And believe me, it'll taste much better than the artificially enhanced stuff they package.

Yes it is real meat in the broth package. The oriental flavor of SOME brands have beef in them too. Be careful.

If it says powdered cooked chicken I would believe it. Try a cheaper brand ;-)

You can also get "ramen noodles" with no flavour by the bag really cheaply at any Asian grocery store. They come in the same rectangular shape and cook in the same amount of time. Then add some vegetarian broth/flavour/stock/whatever. It's like $1-2 for a bag and there are I don't know 10 in a bag?

YES anything flavored meat is not vegetarian unless it has a little (v) or (v)D
thats what I go by
:)<3

sounds like its real chicken then

yes it is. i discovered that a few months back and don't use the sauce anymore.

Sorry I don't eat crachead soup.
