A question about brocolli rabe?

I detest the taste of brocolli (and cauliflower, but that's another issue). I've seen several recipes using brocolli rabe, and am curious about the taste. Does it taste like regular brocolli?

Mmmm -- i don't know -- its leafier like spinach, but pretty bitter like escarole or kale. I'd go to a grocery that allows you to buy by the pound. Get a little handful and cook it up. A little pat of butter and some parmesan might help. I personally think lemon would accent the bitter - so id avoid that.

Oh -- and for the broccoli, try oven roasting or grilling. Toss with a little olive oil, Salt & Pepper and put it on the grill till its a bit carmelized -- changes the whole flavor and brings out sweetness.

Are you crazy.. brocolli is bad for you anyway.. or at least not optimal... dont you see that kids and babies reject it.
