What is a good easy dish i can take to a church ladies group meeting?!

Question:

What is a good easy dish i can take to a church ladies group meeting?

I work and have only about a few hours after work to prepare something to take to the ladies group at church. What's a good easy recipe?

Answers:
The ladies in my church group love this spread. Glad to share it with you. If you like green olives, you'll love this stuff.

OLIVE SPREAD

6 oz. low fat cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup regular or light mayonnaise
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup green olives with pimentos, chopped
2 tablespoons olive juice from the jar
Dash of black pepper

Mix cream cheese and mayo in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until well blended.
Stir in chopped pecans, chopped olives, olive juice and black pepper. Refrigerate in a tightly covered container to blend flavors and thicken.
Serve cold with assorted crackers. These are delicious with "cornbread crackers" that you can find in the cracker aisle of your grocer.

cookies, sandwhiches, grilled cheese sandwhiches, home made dip with chips. Pick up something. Cakes.

cous cous with mediteranian vegetables mixed into it.
So simple and DELICIOUS with a vingrette of some kind.
YOu can get packets of frozen veg for about £1.70 at Tesco and you get ALOT in one, and a large packet of cous cous costs about a £1. Cheap. Easy. Simple. Delicious. Yum :)

I have been taking crock pot meatballs almost everywhere I go. Its easy. Frozen meatballs in brown gravy. Boston Market is the bast gravy. Put in the crock pot on low for 8 or 10 hours before work. A little garlic powder salt pepper and gravy. Easy and everyone loves them.

albertson's salad.

tator tot casserole:in about a 9in. pan put about 4-5 lbs of hamburger pressed down, take about 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and spread on top of that, then put tator tots on top of that in nice rows to cover, put it in the oven to bake at about 350 degrees until done, about an hour.

You need to be more specific--main dish, soup, salad, side dish, what???

That said, these cheesy hash browns are always a hit.
Mix a 2# bag of frozen hash browns (thawed) with 1 can of undiluted cream of mushroom soup, one 8 oz container of sour cream, and 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Pour into a greased casserole and bake at 400 for about 40 minutes.
You can also make in a crockpot, but it takes 3-5 hours and doesn't brown as nicely.

If you want this to be a main dish, stir in some ham cubes and a cup or 2 of broccoli florets.
Good luck!

just get a box of kraft mac n' cheese deluxe with shell pasta, and throw in canned salmon, chopped pimentos, swiss cheese, top with seasoned bread crumbs and more swiss, bake it at 350 for 25-30 min. or till cheese on top melts.

Two nights ago I made a box of Zataran's Jambalaya rice mix, adding 1 raw, skinless diced chicken breast at the same time as the rice, following the directions, and 25 minutes later had a 1 pot meal. It was easy and tasty !

Brownies are always a hit. I keep a box of Betty Crocker Family Recipe Chewy Fudge in my pantry & after mixing, I add a bag of dark chocolate chips & 2 cups of chopped walnuts to the batter, then bake as directed. They're really good. Good Luck!

A veggie tray or fruit tray with dip are good choices. Also buy a deli tray (selection of sliced meats, cheeses, olives) from your deli counter and bring a bag of nice crusty rolls with condiments for the ladies to make their own sandwiches. Artichoke spinach dip with chips is always a hit. Or take a tray of cookies or brownies for everyone to munch on.

If you having to take a big meal I would take Chicken Casserole. This recipe is VERY easy to make pretty much pop it in the oven and it's done. If you just need to take a snack type meal try this dip it's Chili Con Queso. I serve it at my dinner parties and people LOVE it. It takes like 5 minutes to make literally!
