Is eating Vinegar good or bad for you?!

Question:

Is eating Vinegar good or bad for you?

Answers:
Try Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey. Use about 1 tablespoon of each (I like a little more honey, to your taste) in a glass of water. There's a book "Vermont Folk Medicine" which tells of the benefits of this in your diet. Has a good balance of acid/sugar for nutrition, and a good balance of potassium and sodium for heart and nerve function. Drink it for a tonic.

bad

It's good for you.
You should get a pretty good amount of it if you're trying to be flexible.
I don't know how anyone don't want to be.

Good for your arteries bad for your teeth. Check out info. on Apple Cider Vinegar.

good, especially unfiltered apple vinegar

From what I hear, vinegar is supposed to be good for you - but, I don't care for the taste or smell, so I don't use it. Vinegar also cleans windows and kills dandelions in the lawn, so I have to wonder if it REALLY is good for us!

bad

Its good , only if you mix it with Olive oil ( such as in salads).. I′m sure you can use it for other things but not just eating Vinegar alone...

Take care..

I think that eating vinegar is good

It's quite likely that people, over the centuries, began the custom of eating vinegar on salad greens and other uncooked vegetables for health reasons. The vinegar can help kill e coli that can taint uncooked greens. Given the recent cases of e coli contamination in "washed" spinach from the supermarket, maybe it's time we consider the health benefits of vinegar on uncooked greens and other vegetables. For anyone who is a little concerned with the recent cases of tainted greens, consider trying this: Buy a 1 gallon container of vinegar (white distilled); it's cheap. First wash your salad greens with plain water. Place greens in a bowl and wash again with 1 quart of vinegar. Remove the greens and shake off excess vinegar, or wash again with plain water if you don't want vinegar on your salad. Store the used quart of vinegar in a glass mason jar. You can re-use it a few times for this purpose.

I had questions about it myself.

I was TOLD there is YEAST added to some vinegars and not to others... I still am trying to find out more about YEAST.

I had a dream the other night about VINEGAR and questions to "how it was made"...

I wonder...

It's good for cleaning windows, or?

i heard if you drink about an ounce a day it can prevent/heal arthritis.
