This is NOT a request for donations...a request that you put down the fork full of truffles and that you consider helping in some small way today with the crisis facing these people.

thanks for the link... there's loadds we can do, buy fairtrade, look after our environment, donate some time to a charity, or some goods to a thrift shop, write letters to the politicians...
i think the one thing we can't afford to do is just ignore it, we are all human and the hurt we do to others diminishes ourselves too

I don't really eat food to begin with. I eat to survive, not for leisure. But either way, I'd give to charity.

i couldn't even get past the first picture. everytime i see a picture or a comercial about that, i cry. right now i am too young to donate money because i don't have a job and i don't get allowance either, but once i do grow up, i would love to donate money for those poor children. what really made me realize how bad the world is, is the movie "blood diamond". our world is so messed up.
