Question:

I am sick from a jolt energy drink?

I drank a energy drink called Jolt one night. there was 220 jolts of caffiene and on my way home from riding my horse i felt very sick and dizzy. The next night after i was done with my horse i felt sick again. i have never felt sick riding my horses so that cant be it.

Today i tried to go see them and we only stayed 30 minutes because i felt so icky. i couldnt even groom my own horse. So we left. Ever since drinking that jolt i have felt like crap. anyy suggections?

Answers:
Well, it sounds as if you have a yucky stomach bug to me. Usually that's where the dizzy, nauseous feeling comes from.

However, there is a slim possibility that your body doesn't handle that much caffeine too well. Some people actually get a major 'drop' after drinking those. The taurine or guarana (if it's in there) could also be causing it. The only way to really know is to try another energy drink again. If you don't get these same effects, then you'll be able to rule that out. =) I hope you feel better soon.

drink water, and real fruit juice, the caffeine will flush.
Avoid mountain dew, rockstar, and monster...especially high corn syrup drinks and caffeine.

the caffeine prob. caused the dizziness and the upset stomach.
as far as the horse thing goes you might wait a few days. and try ridding again. if it continues i think you might have a
psych. problem associating the two.
when you ride u start to think about the unpleasant day and
your mind is messing with you.

lots of water and steer clear of caffeinated drinks. You might be extra sensitive to caffeine. remember there is lots of sugar and the carbonation helps the sugar and the caffeine get into your system faster than just tea/coffee and sugar

try rockstar i drink it all the time its not as strong and it taste good
