If you wash meat thoroughly, will it lose its flavor?!

Question:

If you wash meat thoroughly, will it lose its flavor?

Well, we have to wash uncooked meat before we cook it, right? But will thorough washing make it lose its flavor?

Answers:
No, it's good to rinse it, takes off any possible spoiled blood/bacteria.

i dont think so

yeah the flavor of ecoli and salmonella but it won't take away the flavor of the meat washing it is good

Check out the United States Department of Agriculture's web site of Safe Food Handling. They do not recommend washing meat, but rather your hands after handling raw meat, and the areas of your kitchen cross contaminated from meat juices.

You are going to have to wash the meat a lot before it will begin to lose flavor. Washing or even rinsing meat isn't generally considered to be necessary. Cooking will destroy any bacteria that can make you sick.
