there is a possibility they can connect you with a hunter willing to part with some of his kill....

Buy some meat from the local hunters. Usually they will sell it to you for a decent price.

Go to a butcher shop that cuts up wild game and tell them you are interested in some.
They will connect you with one of the hunters that likes to hunt and would love to share with you.
oh at the butcher store or the grocery store if that can't help you try picking up hunting as a hobby lol
