Sweet N Sour Sauce/Dip . . .?

Does anyone have a good recipe for Sweet N Sour dipping sauce? I want to make this for dipping chicken nuggets in. I have checked with Allrecipes.com but didn't really find what I was looking for. All of there recipes are very liquidy. I am looking for something that will stick to the nuggets. Thank you for your help.

Sweet and sour sauce
1 small can pineapple juice (or juice from a 15-1/4 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained)

1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (or less)
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

PREPARATION:
Mix all together and cook over medium heat until thickened. May be prepared in microwave in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave about 4-1/2 minutes on high or until thick, stirring every minute.

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon green peppers, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped pimento
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water
1 teaspoon paprika


Directions:

In a saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar, water, green pepper, pimento and salt. Simmer 5 minutes.

Combine cornstarch and cold water. Add to hot mixture. Cook and stir until thickened. Cool. Add paprika (for color).

This recipe for Sweet `n Sour Sauce serves/makes 2.5 cups
