I don't eat the skin of cos. I cut it into havles n scope with a teaspoon. Usually there is a sligth stinking pain but today, I touch the top of the mouth cavity n found it bleeding. Any suggestion to eat it without this problem?

I'm no expert on this, but kiwi fruit is quite acidic. I find I get similar things as you, also with pineapple. I think its just a matter of it irritating the skin and perhaps in your case (which is more severe than mine!) its even eating through the outer layers until they're warn thin.

You cut them like a hard boiled egg and eat them the same way with a spoon.

yeah, you're supposed to "peel" it and only eat the green insides. BUT, people with latex allergies aren't supposed to eat Kiwi's seeing as how they come from the same plant. (I aleays wondered why kiwi's tasted funny, until my sister gave me this tidbit of info.)
