WHIPPED BUTTER
1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. butter
1 pt. whipping cream
1 1/2 - 2 c. buttermilk
Have everything at room temperature. Put butter and butter into mixer and beat real slow. Use 1/4 cup milk and cream at a time. Beat until mixed well.
this is the best! Take 1/2 cup of butter and two TBS of honey. mix in mixing bowl.
voila! Honeybutter.

I would take the literal approach, just get some soft butter and whip it, or blitz some non softened butter.
It's probably just about getting air into the butter, so it's not as rich.
butter room temp mixer on high with a whip add crushed ice and whip whipn whipined and pull from mixer and put on ice. I like the formula with buttermilk and i will try it.
