What I had intended to write was How to go about........

Start with a nice crusty bread that's flavorful, like with garlic or sundried tomatoes... then you'll want to add in, lightly sauteed or grilled: portabello mushroom, peppers, zucchini, and eggplant (if you're going veg, if not omit some veggies and go with a nice prosciutto or lean turkey, maybe a peppercorn turkey sliced, or a lean roast beef!) add some low fat cheese, like a provolone or mozzarella, or ricotta, even... then you'll want to add your fresh veggies, maybe raw or cooked onion, some lettuce and juicy tomato, then you'll need condiment: maybe a nice low cal dressing or olive oil and vinegar... grill/toast to perfection, put on a lovely plate with some sweetpotato fries, drink a cranberry juice mixed with unsweetened mint iced tea and some seltzer water.... yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Cheese Rolls.
Spread sandwich bread with butter or margarine and sprinkle with grated tasty cheese and fold into 3.
Place under a heated grill, and toast turning when the first side is done. Spread with butter on the top and serve.
Options; add some spring onions, chives or garlic chives, spread bread with butter and Vegemite, or make with cold mince.
Options; To toast, use a sandwich press, George Foreman Grill etc.

Use fresh mozarella that has been packed in water or provolone, rehydrated and oiled sun dried tomato cut into slivers, then sautee onion, garlic, zuccini sliced thinly, and red bell pepper with a healthy pinch of italian seasoning or fresh basil in olive oil and a splash of soy sauce until veggies are tender. Combine the sliced cheese, tomato and sauteed veggies layered on the bread and grill away to desired toastiness.

Grill using a nice crusty bread and serve with a glass of good red wine or icy cold beer in a frosty glass.

The best way to make a wholesome sandwich is to use wholesome ingredients. I use hearty whole grain bread (from a local, organic bakery) or you can use Ezekiel sprouted breads. Then I use organic extra sharp cheddar and some organic alfalfa sprouts. Instead of using butter on the bread for grilling, I put a little olive oil (first cold-pressed extra virgin) in the pan and use that for grilling.

This might sound gross but it is really good everyone I know even the picky vegetarians I know love it! Any kind of cheese and any kind of jelly! on a sandwich and grill it! It is so good. The sweet and the salt go great together but don't off set the other flavors. Some of the favorites we have found are Apple Jelly and Cheddar, Grape Jelly and Swiss, Apricot Jelly (jam) and Munster, and Pepper Jelly and Mozzarella.

Also another great grilled sandwich is Tomato, Mozzarella, and fresh Basil and grill it! Yum! So good!

Use a good bread, a nice dense multigrain. For the fat, I use Smart Balance margarine, because it has a great flavor and it's made from canola oil. You can also use "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray. Either coat the pan, or apply directly to the bread. I really love to grill thin sliced turkey with some sliced colby-jack cheese. But another great thing is buying a quesadilla maker! The thing is awesome. You can use any type of tortilla, add all different types of fillings, and it seals them and sections them for cutting and dipping. It's non-stick, so you just need the tiniest amount of oil spray.

You should get all your ingredients and then toast the bread, then grill all your ingredients and then prepare your sandwich. Have a great who;esome grilled snadwich !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
