Has anybody else noticed a different taste in our traditional Hovis Loaf?!

Question:

Has anybody else noticed a different taste in our traditional Hovis Loaf?

I am convinced we are just paying for the name, it just doesn't taste the same, it tastes bland, the old Hovis had a distinctive Hovis taste, or is it me!. I have shopped around a lot of bakerys and they all taste different, I am sure like everything else today we are being conned, MY GOD THEY HAVE GOT TO OUR HOVIS TOO .

Answers:
I have always loved Hovis but it is definitely different I no longer buy it.

yes it tastes much sweeter - yuk.

Sorry pal but it always tasted like shite to me.

Yes, I got a Hovis loaf the other day, it was like cardboard. The only way I can eat it is to toast it. Kingsmill bread is a lot better and usually softer too.

Yes It smells I thought it was me I stopped baying it some weeks ago

The only way to get quality bread is to buy it from a local bakery.

All our food is getting the same the onlything they can't change the taste of is eggs...
