Question:

I bought some fresh sausages last week and froze them when i got home... about 3 days ago i took them out to defrost but never got round to cooking them.. they have been in the fridge.. R they still safe to cook???

Answers:
i would! go by your nose too, if they smell ok they should be fine.

wash them with cold water first

no probs to eat

they should be OK if after you bought them they were put in the freezer pronto. Otherwise they might only be good for dog food.

should be fine. but dont use if they are really slimy or smell bad

Use your nose that will tell you.

I wouldnt touch them, honestly, bin them. Its not worth ending up in hospital for a couple of quid.

I would say yes, as they contain a lot of preservative. If they smell OK, just cook'em and taste

ONCE SOMETHING HAS BEEN DEFROSTED FOR A PERIOD OF TIME, ITS NOT SAFE TO EAT AS IT HAS AN INCREASE CHANCE OF GETTING BACTERIA

Yes but make sure you cook them thoroughly til they go a bit black to be on the safe side.

yes i do that sort of thing all the time

Just did that. All right up to n... sorry got to go.

If they smell and look ok. Cook and eat, now.

if they smell ok... not tainted or sour smelling.. then go ahead and cook em.. i would!

Yes, they should be all right if they have been kept in the fridge. Just make sure you cook them thoroughly.
