Quaker Puffed Rice Cereal...?!
Quaker Puffed Rice Cereal...?
Cheap bagged house brands are available, but has anyone found the real thing lately?
Answers:
I haven't seen the real one in ages...I usually buy the generic one in the bags...to make Puffed Rice Balls at Hallowe'en...
Here's the recipe, which calls for a box of the cereal but still...

You can buy the real deal on this website...for about the same price as at the grocery store, plus shipping and handling, of course...

It's kind of a scream to check out the other stuff on the site, brings back some memories...
I have a box in my cupboard. I can't get it everywhere. I bought a bag of the house brand once and I found it was tough and chewy - it wasn't as puffy as the Quaker.
