Why is coca cola the best selling drink is it not just because it is the most famous and heavily advertised I think personally it does not have much taste and I think Irn-bru tastes much better, of those who have had irnbru which is the best coca cola or irn-bru

dunno, i disagree i think that it does have quite a bit of taste to it. I have tryed irn-bru and do not like it thinks its horrible coca cola is so much better, well thats what i think.

Don't know what Irn Bru is but I love Coca Cola more than any other soda out there and I think it is most popular because they are who set the bar for soda inventors. Coca Cola is an American trademark and has been around a long time ( not sure exactly how long) anyway they have very high standards and they don't have to advertise that much because the quality has maintained through the years and the clientele is constantly growing just by the loyal drinkers, and the new products they come up with every year.
More to do with multimillion pound advertising campaigns, remember they invented Santa as we know him today.
Give me Irn Bru any-day, anything made from girders has gotta be great.... best hangover cure known to man!

I agree COKE in a bottle does have a better taste than Coke in a can does taste different. I always thought the can made the change in the taste. I did hear recently, that COKE when served in the actual COKE shaped type glass will have the best flavor. The shape of COKE pop bottle is similar to a COKE glass. Could that be why COKE in a bottle taste better than COKE in a can?

all I know is that I grew up with Coke as the choice for soda in my house and I still love it today. I prefer it over most of the other sodas on the market except I just found Jones Soda and I love the wacky flavors that they have.
