Can I put my roast in the oven now?!

Question:

Can I put my roast in the oven now?

It's still frozen a little in the center. Not solid, the knife slides all the way through, but I can hear the ice. Can I put it in the oven anyhow? I want to eat it today.

Answers:
Yes it might take a bit longer than usual. If you have tin foil put shiney side against meat and wrap and cook. The foil helps it get hotter and shiney side in is better as it is not as reflective. Open foil towards end so you get crusty meat

Best of luck

if it slides threw then eat it.;0

Cook it! It,ll be fine.

Just extend the cooking time by 10 to 15 mins.

If you can cut it, it is definitely ready for the oven.

Weigh it first and calculate the time at 20 minutes per lb and add a further 10-15 minutes for defrosting.
Begin at 180C for 20 minutes, then knock the heat back to 165C. That should cook it to about medium, so judge it from there, depending on how you like your roast.
