How many sweet potatoes equal a 40 oz can?
I need to eat 6 sweet potatoes a day, but I got a 40 oz can. Serving size is 2/3 cup (166g) and there are 7 servings per can. How many sweet potatoes would this equal?

I have bought the 28 oz cans here in Canada to make sweet potato pies, and there were 5-6 in each tin so your looking at 7-10 in a 40 oz can.
You might be better off buy fresh ones and microwaving them they take 6-8 minutes depending on the size of the potatos, or peel them and cook them in microwavable cassarole, that would be cheaper, tinned one run a couple of dollars, fresh one about 50-75 cents a pound, you can even roast a number of them and let them cool then scoop them out and eat the measures amount, it may be a bit of work but alot less expensive.
