Cooked bacon left outside refrigerator?!

Question:

Cooked bacon left outside refrigerator?

Yesterday I cooked some bacon and there was a lot left over but I forgot to stick it in the refrigerator and it was left on the counter. Does anyone know if its still good to eat?

Answers:
If it has been left out for more than four hours throw it out. It may smell and even taste fine, but general rule is that no meat should be consumed after four hours of being left out.

it should be i guess it might have gotten really solid overnight though.

Its good to eat. I do that all the time, and the girl below me doesnt know what shes talkin about.

i don't think you are supposed to eat meat left out longer than 2 hours at most, or you'll risk food poisoning

As long as the house has a set temperature, and no bugs then yes you can reheat it and eat.

Yes, it's good to eat. Of course, there will be bacteria growing on it (there's bacteria everywhere, and you need good bacteria to live), but it'll only get REALLY bad after a few days.

DEFINITELY NO GOOD!
