How do you make raw clams on the half shell?
or is it called clams OFF the half shell? what types of sauces or garnishings do you use?
Answers:
Pop them open, scrape the shell to loosen the muscle that attches the meat to the shell and serve with red cocktail sauce, lemon and melted butter, or tabasco.
I like mine with no sauce, and just a little lemon juice squeezed over the top. Yum!

You open it up, add tartar sauce cocktail sauce or any other sauces, then eat it in half the shell.
