Blondie Recipe???!

Question:

Blondie Recipe???

Hi,
My mom is currently in Texas for army training; and she wants me to bake her some cookies. I am making three different types and one is Blondies. She told me she wanted white chocolate and chocolate Blondies, but the recipe has fine quality semisweet chocolate only. So my question is could I make these using 3 oz fine quality semisweet chocolate and 2 oz fine quality white chocolate, or would that mess the recipe up? It calls for 5 oz of chocolate total.
Thanks in Advance!!!
Also, could I use normal butter instead of unsalted butter, it calls for 1 stick of unsalted butter.

Answers:
You can mix the white and semisweet together. regular butter should be fine. If the recipe calls for salt cut it by 1/3.

Go Mom!!
