i have bought betty crocker sugar cookie mix. how do the cookies turn out? are they hard cruncky cookies used for iceing and decorating or are they soft and good? please help! (best answer given:)

They're soft and really, really good. I like them better than any "home made" recipe I've tried.
Do you have any bran? Try bran. and bake then into muffins. just a thought.
in my experience cookies from a mix never turn out good.
Sugar cookies are not that hard to make from scratch.
I add a little nutmeg to my recipe. very tasty!
(not my recipe below but an easy one for you)
Everytime that I made them they got really hard...and if you dont cook them as long as the directions read, then they get gushy in the middle.........I like them undercooked rather than hard.....good luckl.
