Before I read it, a distant memory popped into my head about eating my first bran muffin - a college concert tour, staying in the home of an elderly lesbian couple for one night. In the morning that was the only breakfast offered!

I confess, I have never eaten a bran muffin in my life, nor would I want to, - the best are blueberry muffins from Second Cup. I would die happy if I knew that I could get those in Heaven.
