Help with cheese and pilot biscuits?!

Question:

Help with cheese and pilot biscuits?

I'm going backpacking across Michigan, and need to know how to protect cheese. I've heard of covering it in wax but don't know how to do that. I was wondering if string cheese spoils, or can I just take it without refrigderating it? Also, what are pilot biscuits? I've heard they're light and easy to take, but I don't really know what they are or where to find them.

Answers:
Yes, string cheese will spoil. Cheese (all kinds) really needs refrigeration. If you want backpacking protein, you are better off packing combinations like rice and beans, oatmeal and dried milk powder, and whole grain pasta and bean soup mix.. Good luck.

I don't know what a pilot biscuit is but I do know how to preserve the cheese. Get a tupperware container and fill it with alcohol. Then put the cheese in a ziplock bag in with the alcohol. When it coomes time to eat the cheese, throw the rotten cheese away and have a delicious shot of alcohol.
Hope this helps.
