Great nachos...?!

Question:

Great nachos...?

I am looking how to make Chili's Classic Nachos. Basically what I really need is how they make the nacho on the bottom...its flat and crunchy and oh so good. Anyone know?

Answers:
Not quite sure what you are asking for, but you can purchase a package of corn tortillas at local grocery store....they will either be in a cold area or along side the flour tortillas. Anyway, either cut each corn tortilla up in 4 or 8 sections , deep fry them till crisp. Lay on paper towels to drain grease. When all corn tortillas are good & crispy....lay them out individually on a cookie sheet .....add refried beans & cooked hamberger..& cheese & canned jalepeno's . Place nachos in oven to melt cheese....than add guacamole (mashed avocado) & sour cream & diced tomatoes to your nachos. serve with good salsa (hot sauce). Or if that is not what you were thinking of try this receipe: Quesedillas.....get some flour tortillas.....spread shredded cheese on the flour tortillas....spread green chile sauce over cheese....add to oven to melt cheese.....cut into triangular shape & eat.....serve with salsa.

a flour tortilla fried or baked?

If you have a Costo's near you go there and look for the restaurant style corn chips. They are so excellent for nachos. I can't think of the name of them but they ar yummy. Good Eating!

try this..

Nacho Chili

2 pounds lean ground beef
2 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
2 cups chopped celery
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup water
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 (11 ounce) can condensed nacho cheese soup, undiluted

Crumble beef into a large bowl. Add the next nine ingredients and mix well. Transfer to a greased ovenproof Dutch oven or roasting pan. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until the meat is no longer pink, stirring once. Let stand for 5 minutes. Garnish individual servings with a dollop of cheese soup.
