Diet Drinks?!

Question:

Diet Drinks?

Has anyone else wonder why some people go to a resturant with a buffet they have a large plate of food then order a diet drink like this will make up for the mass quantity of food they have on there plate and most diet drinks are not that great.

Answers:
I have always asked that same question. Diet drinks are not that much better for you, it is still just as bad as regular. If anything you need to cut out all soda and sugar drinks. Good question I always laugh when I see that. Diet drinks are nasty was well. If you are going to drink soda then just drink the regular thing.

Most people are not drinking diet because they're actually on a diet, but because they don't want the high amount of extra sugar in regular drinks. Some people prefer the taste of diet drinks because regularly sweetened drinks are too syrupy.

I guess it kinda curbs the guilt. Plus saves you a few hundred calories. While defeating the purpose!

some people are diabetic and cna't have sugar

They probably want to avoid the sugar. However; there are so many reports that artificial sweetners, aspartame in particular, can cause cancer so you're kinda damned if you don't; damned if you do.
You can't be 100% with anything in this world.
Take me for instance; I make a habit of buying organic fruits and veggies and organic and grass fed meat and poultry; BUT, I'll STILL drink non organic beverages; eat fried chicken and fish from Kennedy Fried Chicken and will deviate with other foods.
For instance; I just answered a question about Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Milan cookies or French Vanilla.
Normally, I wouldn't eat those kind of cookies; but if they're kosher, I intend to try them.
Go figure.
