Are there any flavored brickets for a gas grill??!

Question:

Are there any flavored brickets for a gas grill??

any flavors at all hickory,apple,smoked,popcorn??...

Answers:
Never seen any, but for smoked flavor you can use regular hunks of whatever wood you want to use just soak it in water and then put on the grill in either a pan or a piece of heavy aluminum foil. As it heats up it smokes and flavors whatever is on the grill with it. You can also take fresh herbs and do the same, although they work better if you put them directly on the grill close to the food you are trying to flavor and watch to make sure they don't burn. use a spray bottle of water to keep from flaring up.

Don't think so...go to the store and see.

Yes there are...
My hubby bought some... and the food that we grill on it... has this woody taste to it...

Mesquite flavored ceramic bricks... from char broil...

basically no. the brickettes for a gas grill are made from lava rock and designed to disperse the heat, not impart flavor. you can use wood chips in a foil holder to produce smoke if you need a smoke flavor, a dry rub or marinade on the product that you are about to cook will also be a good way to give flavor

I'm not sure, wood chips work can be put straight on bricks.
