Sugar Cookies?!?!

Question:

Sugar Cookies?!?

My fiance wants sugar cookies and usually I would make them from scratch but I only have one of those boxes of sugar cookie mix that you add a 1/2 cup marg. and an egg. What can I throw in the mix that will make it come out better? Thanks! ?

Add a bit of extra vanilla. If you have a lemon, lime, or orange, use the rind by zesting (fine grating) into the cookie batter and make a simple glaze from the juice, powdered sugar, a pinch of salt, and some vanilla. You could also make pocket cookies with a piece of chocolate or jam in the middle.

chocolate chips! yum!

Do you have any dried fruit? Or maybe try sprinkling sugar on the tops right before you bake them?

Nice face......... 99cent store?

Rather than rolling them out, roll them into a ball and roll them in cinnamon & sugar.... they will flatten out when they bake and you just made Snickerdoodles! That is a fav in my house at least!

sprinkle some sugar and some decorating candy on top. if you don't have decorating candies, use some alspice, or cinnamon.
I would also add more egg to the mix, as this will leave it slightly more crunchy.

well tossing in anything will make it a different kind of cookie lol but you might add another egg this will make it a little richer and a bit of vanilla and 2 tlb sugar for the added flour ,then mix roll them add flour as needed to get them to the rolling stage and cut with a drinking cup top with sugar and then bake this will help.
