I know that ground beef is ok to eat medium well or a little pink as are steaks...but is lamb the same? I know the burgers should be cooked to a temp of 160 acording to the FDA...but sometimes I have noticed they are still pink at 160.

Yeah, If you ground the lamb yourself It's alright. I don't trust store ground meat, never know what's in them...

As far as eatting meat pink, you can eat any meat pink. Just make sure it's fresh and you know it's a good cut of meat.

No meat should be ever eaten pink!

No, don't eat it pink or you will get sick.

They say that most e.coli is transferred from the grinding machines at the meat processing facilities and usually pertains to beef. I would recommend what the package says. However if you grind your own or have the butcher do it - you should be safe. I mean I never eat my rack of lamb or chops any other way than medium rare.

Pink mince beef or pink lamb mince is not cooked well enough and i reckon you would be asking for food poisoning.
