Can i give my baby some mango?!

Question:

Can i give my baby some mango?

im not talking about the cow and gate 1..

Answers:
You don't say what age your baby is but if the mango is nice and ripe and you mash it up first I'm sure it would be fine to give it to your baby.

How old is the baby? Babies should not have solid food before they are 6 months old, unless they are on artificial baby "milk" which is not a complete food.

If they are at solids age then yeah go for it (my son didn't like it much though)

I cannot see why not. We are all told to encourage our kids to eat more fruit and veg! Make sure mango is pureed!

yeh but it depends on your babys ability to be able to eat it

yes, if baby is young cook it and puree it then mix with well mashed banana. my son loved this, just make sure its cooked a little and the banana is well mashed so he or she can digest it.

sounds cute. listen to the others. Dont give solids to v small babies under 6 months

Sure, my daughter was eating mashed up mango at 5 months, she still loves it to this day.

In my home, my baby would cut the mango into pieces....or squeeze them into juices. Then I feast.

sure,if the baby is on solids, just puree it up.

If baby is 6 months and older, you can. Just becarful mango can give kids diarrhea. I suppose a little taste will do no harm.

Without the age your kiddy winkle baby (?) but I would go with the majority that if the mango is sweet, ripe and you mash it up first I'm sure it would be fine to give, aren't they such fun at that age - enjoy your baby they are that small for such a short time

If the ankle biter is on solids I would say yes but not a lot, it could mean having to buy an extra pack of nappies. mango, I'd kill for some right now
